Our Wedding Party
There are many people that have been a vital part of our love story. They hold a special place in our wedding celebration but an even bigger place in our hearts. We are pleased to introduce our amazing wedding party!
Bridesmaids
Martha Ducatel
Many people have idols and superheroes on TV or in movies, famous people they will probably never meet. I, however, was beyond lucky that mine was a phone call away and sitting right across from me in the now-extinct Chuck e’ Cheese. My cousin Martha is the epitome of greatness in my eyes. I couldn’t wait to grow up to be just like her. Although I formed my own path, her words guided my every step.
Jennifer Charles
How many people can say that their former co-worker has become their best friend, confidant, partner in crime, and most incredible support system? I often joke about how Jenni and I met, the least likely to become friends. When I first started at Boston Children’s Hospital, Jenni was reluctant to give me a chance. But now this beautiful, confident, and radiant human being has brought so much positivity and love into my life that I would let her ignore me 1000x times over so that we could eventually become friends.
Kirsten Alegi
Moving is challenging, especially at the height of your middle school career. You establish friends, and boys start to notice you, and just like that, you’re in the uncharted territory of unknown sticky middle schoolers. Then comes along the funniest and smiliest human that insists on hugging you before every science class. If best friends were soulmates, Kirsten is mine. She has been there for every milestone in my life; who would’ve thought it all started with a hug?
Julia DeStefano
I’m no expert in relationships, but one thing I know for sure is how lucky I am to have Jules as a best friend. Jules (pronounced jewels) is a fitting nickname because Julia is as rare as they come. The kindest, most supportive person anyone will ever meet. They say that the best things come in threes and that is a perfect way to describe our trio (Jules, Kristen, and I), but they also say that struggles make relationships stronger, and our teamwork to keep our other 3rd out of trouble has made our relationship stronger than the strongest crazy glue.
Stephanie Berthil
I don’t know where I thought babies came from when I was younger. But I prayed constantly to get another human to spend my life with. Then comes along this bundle of joy with a side of *slight* headache, all wrapped up from the hospital. I could’ve gone through life the same way I have now, but it would’ve never been complete without my sister Steph. She has shown me the true definition of unconditional love, patience, care, and kindness; as she grows up, she has taught me more about life than I learned myself. Although I am marrying Colin, Steph is my original better 1/2 and always will be.
Jaffna Innocent
Most have not had the opportunity to meet Zozo, who is like a second sister to me, all because she has been too busy thriving. Although she might tell you that I am her role model, I beg to differ. It’s the other way around. After all, despite her being younger, I look up to her. Her kindess and love is something everyone could emulate. Seeing her grow into greatness is an honor, and I couldn’t be prouder.
Liana Beausoleil
There’s no word in the dictionary to describe Nana. She constantly radiates the most loving, positive, and beautiful energy. To say she’s amazing would be an understatement. At some point as a child the name Rose was something I was enamored with. Through begging and pleading my godmother allowed me to pick Liana’s middle name. Rose fit like a glove, with how beautiful she is the name “Liana Rose” is perfect.
Groomsmen
Mark Costello
Through playing poker, you meet many unique people. Most aren’t worth staying close with, but occasionally you find a diamond in the rough. Mark is one of the sharpest guys I know, but most people don’t know that cause he wears headphones (that aren’t even plugged in) just so people don’t talk to him. I’m glad I figured it out and made him talk to me.
Spencer Smick
Spencer is my oldest friend of the bunch. We’ve been friends since Cabot Elementary School but got closer about ten years ago when Spencer convinced me to try rock climbing. Though he may be quiet, Spencer is always insightful and thought-provoking. If you’re into philosophy and the outdoors, Spencer is your guy.
Blake Boris-Schacter
I am a night owl that most people can’t hang with. Blake can. From playing games, to going on impromptu late-night adventures, to parties and conversations, Blake and I have been late-night partners in crime for over 20 years. If you make it to sunrise on our wedding night, he’ll be there for a toast.
Matthew Fasano
Of these men, Pudge is my newest friend, but in the last five years, we have become very close. After coaching Matt for a season on an adult Ultimate Frisbee team, I tried to convince him to coach the high school team with me, but he said no. Covid happened, and his place of employment burned down, so I convinced him to move in with us and coach with me. He is easily the best coaching partner I’ve ever had. I definitely didn’t burn down the Border Cafe. . .
Jared Blake
Since high school, Jared has been a bit of a big brother to me. Through numerous service trips, his non-profit work, and devotion to his family (especially his daughter), Jared has always been a role model for me as one of the most hardworking, caring, and selfless people I know. He’s definitely the softy of the bunch.
